| Descripció i Metodologia: |
Keeping your level up requires updating and using vocabulary, grammar, phonetics
and a long etcetera. This course offers the opportunity of improving your speaking
skills in a motivating way in order to produce clear and well structured oral
communication on a range of topics.

To demonstrate that participants have achieved the objectives of this course, they will have to deliver a five-minute presentation in front of their classmates and, afterwards, answer the questions posed by their classmates for about ten minutes (40% of the total mark). To train participants to reach this stage, they will be trained on word stress, intonation patterns, delivery styles, textual organization, rhetorical considerations, audience awareness and Q/A management (continuous assessment: 60%).
By the end of the course, participants are expected to:
Recognise their own presentation style; see improvement in their delivery; observe betterment in their pronunciation, word stress and word choice; learn the common strategies used by public speakers to engage an audience, and manage Q&As.

Minimum attendance 80%.
